Kate Pearce is a dedicated and visionary leader for Raleigh’s Dix Park, where her passion for community, public space, and the environment shines brightly. As the Executive Director of the park for the City of Raleigh, Kate is the cornerstone in the effort to transform the historic 308-acre park into a vibrant, inclusive, and green space for all residents.

With a background in urban planning and business consulting, Kate combines her expertise with a deep-rooted love for Raleigh. She has been instrumental in the planning and execution of various projects within Dix Park, including the park’s master plan, the opening of the Gipson Play Plaza and beloved sunflower field.

Through her work, Kate Pearce continues to champion the idea that urban green spaces are essential for the well-being of the city, and her contributions to Dix Park serve as a testament to her dedication to making Raleigh a better place for all.
