Session: 12 Months After OSAID v.1
At ATO 2024 the Open Source Initiative (OSI) unveiled the Open Source AI Definition (OSAID) v.1, concluding a multi-year, world-wide community effort. As the AI arena continues to change at a rapid pace, AI practitioners are adopting the OSAID and we’re analyzing how these AI communities act. In this talk we’ll share what the OSI has learned and what we have heard from the open source community in terms of its needs. We will give an update on the recommendations being made to the OSI board for clear and actionable steps toward an updated version of the Open Source AI Definition to address this ever-evolving landscape.
